What do we mean by "per activation"?
2 Minute Read
It’s simpler than it sounds.
One of the most common questions we get asked here at Mood Ring (besides “Why the heck do you call it Florida Citrus Kush when it’s actually grown in Quebec?!”) is “What do you mean when you say ‘per activation’ on your THC Oil and CBD Oil labels?”
“Per activation” might sound complicated, but really it’s not. It simply refers to the amount of oil that’s contained in one (1) supplied syringe.
Another way to see it? One activation equals the size of the syringe that’s provided with your Mood Ring product. So…
THC Oil 1 activation = 0.3ml
CBD Oil 1 activation = 1.0ml
Balanced 15:15 Oil 1 activation = 0.5ml
Once you understand what we mean by the term “per activation,” it’s relatively easy to calculate the amount of THC or CBD you get with each one:
THC Oil
30 mg/g of THC x 27.5g per bottle = 825mg of THC per bottle. Mood Ring THC Oil comes in a 30ml bottle and each syringe is 0.3ml, so 30 ÷ 0.3 = 100 activations per bottle. 825 ÷ 100 = 8.25mg of THC per activation.
CBD Oil
36.4 mg/g of CBD x 27.5g per bottle = 1000mg of THC per bottle. Mood Ring CBD Oil comes in a 30ml bottle and each syringe is 1.0ml, so 30 ÷ 1.0 = 30 activations per bottle. 1000 ÷ 30 = 33.3mg of CBD per activation.
Balanced 15:15 Oil
15.0 mg/g of both THC and CBD x 27.5g per bottle = 412.5mg of both THC and CBD per bottle. Mood Ring Balanced 15:15 Oil comes in a 30ml bottle and each syringe is 0.5ml, so 30 ÷ 0.5 = 60 activations per bottle. 412.5 ÷ 60 = 6.875mg of both THC and CBD per activation.
You probably already know this, but THC and CBD concentrations can vary slightly from batch to batch. You can always confirm the exact dosage per activation simply by checking the label (where we’ve already done the math for you). Super handy, right?
And that’s really all there is to it!
